Hello there and Welcome!

I have had a real interest in sport and fitness since around the age of 16, when I first started sixth form and discovered the sport of badminton! It transpired that I was good, and I would spend hours on the courts practising and playing with other enthusiasts (often at the expense of lessons). Anyway, my brother and I held the title of mixed champions through our duration there.

Whilst at university I discovered ‘step aerobics’, and I loved it, the more steps the better!

After my time at university, I continued participating in aerobic and step aerobic workouts, I also discovered jogging and squash. I continued participating in these throughout my 20s. In my 30s, I started my family, and during these pregnancies, and after, I developed a love for ‘spinning’ and free-weight training in the gym. I also ran a successful sports supplements company.

My passion for fitness has continued and now includes regular weight training, boxing training, with HITT/Tabata workouts being my favourite.

I also finally, decided to pursue my own dream of becoming a PT/fitness instructor, to share my passion with other ladies of a similar age, who have had children and are now middle aged, and you simply want to look and feel better about yourselves, lose some weight, improve your health through fitness, but perhaps are shy and not confident about going to a regular gym. Perhaps you want to start weightlifting, but don’t know how or where to start, or maybe you want to learn how to do full pushups or unassisted pullups?

I want to reach out to all women and show that it’s all doable and to make real, lasting changes in your lives through strength and fitness training in a one-to one, comfortable, non-judgmental environment. This is my passion and vision for Fit Body Forty.
